Deep Dental Cleaning
Gum disease or periodontitis is a chronic multifactorial disease that affects supporting structures around teeth. It is a progressive condition that can result in tooth mobility and tooth loss if left untreated. We offer both non-surgical and surgical treatments. We use advanced technique to thoroughly clean beneath the gum line and remove harmful bacteria to improve your oral health. Whether you have mild or severe gum disease, we will help you to achieve a healthy smile.
Periodontal regeneration
Periodontal regeneration is a dental procedure aimed at restoring the structures that support teeth. It is primarily used to treat advanced stages of gum disease, which can lead to the destruction of jawbone and ultimately result in tooth loss. Periodontal regeneration not only helps to save teeth that might otherwise be lost but also contributes to the overall health and function of the oral cavity.
Biopsy
A dental biopsy involves the removal of a small piece of tissue from mouth for examination and diagnosis. Dental biopsy is indicated when there is oral lesion or abnormality that needs to be evaluated to determine their nature and whether they are benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). The biopsy is crucial for early detection of oral cancer and other conditions.
Gum grafts
Gum graft is a surgical procedure performed to correct gum recession and improve the health and appearance of the gums, as well as helping with sensitivity of roots. It involves taking tissue from another part of the mouth or using donor tissue and grafting it onto the areas where the gums have receded. We offer different periodontal plastic surgery technique and sources of donor tissue tailoring the procedure to your gum recession.
Extractions
When a tooth is beyond repair, our periodontist will safely extract it and provide you with a treatment plan for replacement. We offer cutting edge technique to preserve the jawbone around your tooth and prepare the site for future dental implants, whether it is a simple extraction or a complex one.
Dental Implants
Our periodontist specializes in dental implants, which are a permanent solution to replace missing teeth and restore your smile. We offer both single and full arch dental implant treatments. Having dental implants completed by periodontist has the advantage of restoring both soft and hard tissue for ideal esthetic outcome.
Canine exposure
Canine exposure is commonly performed in orthodontics to facilitate the eruption of a impacted canine tooth that fails to fully emerge from the gum and properly align with the rest of the teeth. Left untreated, impacted canines can lead to misalignment of neighboring teeth, bite problems, and potential damage to adjacent teeth or gum tissue. The procedure involves creating a pathway to guide the impacted tooth into its correct position.
Sinus augmentation/lift
A sinus lift, also known as a sinus augmentation, is a dental procedure performed to increase the amount of bone in the upper back teeth area. It is commonly performed in preparation for dental implant placement when the bone height is inadequate due to the presence of the maxillary sinus. A sinus lift helps create enough bone to support the dental implants, ensuring their stability and success.
Bone Grafts
A bone graft is a surgical procedure in which a piece of bone, bone substitute, or bone-stimulating material is transplanted into a deficient area of mouth such as tooth soocket when a tooth is extracted. Bone graft is used to enhance the bone structure of the jaw especially before dental implant placement. This provides a stable foundation for the implants. We offer advanced technique and high quality dental biomaterials to our patients.
Laser Periodontal Therapy
(LANAP/LAPIP)
Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP) is a minimally invasive surgical procedure to treat gum disease. During this procedure, a dental laser is used to remove diseased gum tissue and bacteria from the gum pocket. The laser also helps to stimulate the regeneration (forming) of healthy gum tissue and bone around the teeth. Laser therapy is preferred by patients because it typically involves less discomfort and faster healing compared to traditional surgery methods.
Crown Lengthening
Functional crown lengthening will enable saving compromised teeth by making them longer for placement of crown. Esthetic crown lengthening is a procedure that can improve the appearance of your smile by removing excess gum tissue and exposing more of your teeth. We offer both functional and esthetic crown lengthening treatments.
Gingivectomy
Gingivectomy involves the removal of part of gum tissue. It is typically performed to treat gum disease, excessive gum tissue, create space for orthodontics, or to create a more favorable environment for oral hygiene.
